Radium Engineering designed the 8AN Female to 8.5mm Barb as a purpose-built solution that connects 8AN Female to 8.5mm Barb, giving the system a direct transition between the two connection standards. That keeps the plumbing compact and serviceable while avoiding a stack of extra adapters in a fuel, oil, or other compatible fluid system.

Match both connection standards exactly and use the correct sealing method for the thread type being installed.
