The Haro Shredder 16 is a solid first step for getting into BMX freestyle. This bike has everything kids will need to start learning tricks, jumps, and smooth moves without feeling overwhelmed.

Frame

The frame uses 6061 aluminum alloy, which is sturdy yet light enough for control. This means kids can handle the bike easily while trying out spins and jumps.

Brakes

Stopping with confidence is key. The Promax alloy rear brake meets that need. It’s simple to use but dependable, helping riders build good habits around safety as they gain experience.

Tires

The Kenda tires on both wheels find a middle ground between gripping the ground and rolling fast. Whether riding on pavement or at the park, these tires keep traction and control steady, which helps riders feel more sure as they practice.

Cranks

Pedaling is powered by Haros one-piece steel cranks. A solid crankset like this forms a good foundation for pedaling skills.

Saddle

Comfort matters too, especially when spending time learning and riding. The adjustable Jr Haro saddle is padded and sized for kids, letting them find a comfy ride without distractions.

Grips

Holding on tight during tricks comes down to grips. The Haro Mini Grips fit the bill. Designed for small hands, they boost control and help riders feel secure.
